Whereas in competing firms, tax advisory services are usually rendered ‘on the side’ (e.g. by corporate lawyers, auditors or administrators), Consulco is one of the few firms in Cyprus that has structured its tax advisory services differently in the sense that the members of its tax department are educated and trained tax lawyers who are exclusively engaged in rendering tax advice and do not render any other services, such as audit- or corporate services.
