The Consulco Group attended MIPIM, the world’s leading property summit held for the 30th year in Cannes, France. The networking event dedicated to real estate welcomed over 23,000 professionals and 14,000 companies this year.
Two of Consulco’s Directors, namely Dmitry Khenkin and David King, as well as Assistant Fund Manager Ria Bhavnani, had the opportunity to meet with representatives of some of the leading firms in the property market and with knowledgeable investors.
Despite Brexit uncertainties, the prevailing view was that London remains a leading international financial center and a major attraction to institutional investors across Europe, Middle East and the Far East.
A key theme that appeared in the talks and presentations held was that placemaking and infrastructure lie at the heart of sound investment decisions.
